83 GMC...Another Question

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm going to head down the road of fixing up the 83 GMC. What aftermarket sources of parts are the best?

When I put the replacement bed on the truck, I ordered a few things from LMC truck. Their bed bolt kit was just hardware store carriage bolts that weren't long enough to work (I re-used the original bolts). That might have been an isolated issue, but I'm a little concerned about going back to LMC. Who else is reputable for aftermarket/repro parts?

I'd give them a call to see what they have to say. The true measure of a person or company is to see how they act when something goes wrong. I'd let them know about the bolts. If they offer a reasonable answer and solution, do business with them again. If they don't, you know to move on.
