Hi everyone, new to this site. I've been building my 82 Suburban for the past few years now. I've got a Dana 60 in front with 37's on it and a 14bolt FF going in the rear. I dropped my fuel tank to remove the old rear shackles and install an ORD 2 1/2" shackle flip kit, but after the tank removal I noticed the metal beam supports that go across the frame ontop of the body mounts are rotted, mostly gone. Does anyone know what these are called? Floor supports? Also I dont know if I can purchase new ones or if I have to fab them up, or do I even need them? Would it be safe to just add metal between the floor and body mount? not extend all the way across the floor...
Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Jason
