Just ordered the brackets to install dual front shocks. Was thinking about using the Rancho adjustable shocks so I could control the stiffness somewhat. I want to make sure I have the correct numbers. From what I could determine, the numbers I need are RS999113 for the front inner shock an RS999151 for the front outer shock. And RS999118 for the rear shocks. Are these the correct numbers? Thank you, James.

I think dual front was also an optional item in 82. Not seem very often.

I think it's always been an option, unless maybe there was some special off-road package that it came with. My 'burb had them, but it had just about everything GM had to offer.

Same here. My 82 k5 was optioned out. I went with sky jacker black maxx for my quads and rear shocks.

I had the dual front shocks (added them on) and since took them off and have just the single shocks up front. I am running the sway bar and really noticed no difference with the dual shocks.
