8' bed question

This confirms what I was thinking earlier. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why the trailering special cab would have the camper special bed. Someone in the truck's history swapped the bed. Great for me since I'm planning on putting the "77" bed on the 81.

There’s nothing special about the bed. 8’ bed is a 8’ bed. Period.
There were some factory or dealer packages that included things like camper tie downs though.

1977 will have a round, external gas cap. 1979-84 have the square fuel doors with the 2 bolt filler neck attachment. 1985-91 have the same square fuel door, but the plastic, 3 screw, filler neck inside
