I have a 77 K15. Anyone know where I can obtain the tire jack that mounts on the right hand fender well?

No idea if they are the same but this an extra one that came from a 86 or 87 K10.

I’m almost positive they’re different. You could check eBay or partshotlines.com. The latter has a network of salvage yards that’ll mail you your part, and they’ll send you pictures if you ask.

The used parts places may pull them off and keep track of them for spare parts, but I don't think I've ever found a junkyard square body that still had a jack. I don't know why everyone takes them out or loses them.

I ended up buying a hydraulic bottle jack that had a high lift piston, since I need quite a bit of height to get the truck up enough to change a tire.

Are you wanting a restoration project or for real use. I can tell you it sucks. You're better off getting a cheap bottle jack that doesn't take up alot of room behind the seat or if you really wanted, I'm certain you could come up with some kind of clamp for the fender well too. Even if it's a rubber strap made out of one of those rubber bungee type with the hooks on the end of it.

Thanks y'all. Just trying to stay real. It's a beater, but still kind of hoping for one of the original ones.

I know what you mean. I like to keep mine as original as possible too.
I bought mine from the original owner (a 1975 K20) and it came with the jack, wrench and rod. Try LMC Truck Parts, they seem to have a good stock of parts.

Hey Mike welcome neighbor to GMSB :boti: i will look around to see if I can find one we have access to some older mechanics that may have some of the older jacks setting around in their shops. Not sure the last couple of trucks I found had the jacks and handles in place but they were 84’s figure out if they were different may be able to help.
