So im looking for a cheap plug and play carb for a 77 Eldorado with a 425 in it. I tried rebuilding the stock rochester but i messed a gasket up and it leaks fuel everywhere. I figure untill my carb rebuilding skills are better an aftermarket one would be perfectly reasonable. And if the new owner wants to rebuild it then they have the originally carb.

The cheapest carb is the one you already have :)

Old stock carbs are getting harder to find. The days of them being scattered all over the junkyards are long gone. New carbs are pricey, even the cheap ones are $300-plus.

Yeahhhh that's probably a 795. Prolly way too much carb for your tiny Cadillac.
Fear not Brother, there is no need to suffer unnecessarily. I'll take it off your hands so you don't have to mess with it.
Everybody knows them old Quads ain't no good anyhow.
