I found a good 77’ C20 cab, I am looking into putting it on my 78’ K10. Does anyone have information on that? I heard it will fit and bolt up fine but get the right body mounts for the new cab I got. Also heard something about needing a 1” body lift so the transfer case fits? Am I wrong am I right? Any info would help. Thanks, Logan

right right ish. You only need the body lift if it's a low hump cab (automatic cab potential has these) if its a manual trans cab its direct swap other than cutting shifter hole

The floors will be different between the K10 & C20. If the C20 is manual then you'll only need the hump extension from the transmission pan that tapers into the seat pan. If it's an auto C20 then you'll end up cutting the floor center from your K10. There's some great info in a related forum on these floors. FWIW
