76 k10 vibration

I have a 76 k10 with 3 inch blocks no taper an i believe 4 inch fromt springs
I recently had a new slip yoke an stuf shaft put on my driveshaft my old one had alot if slop in it...
I now get alot if vibration or shudder when i accelerate but when i left off the gas it rides smooth and nice...
Is this because my pinion angle i really wanna move to a four inch block to make the back a little higher that the front...

Blocks with no taper? Are they the basic cheap hollow aluminum blocks that you get from the parts store? If so, they have no business on a 4x4.

I'm going to say you really need to have the tapered blocks and it might have something to do with your vibration. Your old worn shaft might have hidden the problem. You could also just have a real stiff u-joint in the new shaft.

They are fragile and can break holding up the weight of a heavy truck. They are only OK when used for lowering a small pickup (spring under axle) since the weight of the vehicle isn't trying to crush them.

Dump the blocks and go with a shackle flip kit. It will correct your pinion angle and eliminate the possibility of wheel hop.

He'd have to get a masonary blade and cut grooves in them first for the U bolts can ride in the grooves or they'll slip out. Could possibly be more work that what it's worth and depending on how many mason blades it takes... Just sayin...

Yes they are im in the process of finding four inch blocks with taper after i had put my front lift on my ass ends lower

I wish i could but dont really have the money for that
i still gotta swap steering boxes get new trans mount bushings and get my front axle build and swaped so i can finally use my 4wd for once

I towed in an impounded K10 once that was lifted with rocks...A local mechanic came by to see if he could use parts off it (owner was never getting it back) and came back in and said "what a pile of ****!" I asked him if he saw the lift kit to which he replied "no." I told him to go back out and have a look, it's a good one. He came back in dazed and was saying "rocks?"
