Hi, My name is Andrew. I recently acquired a 1976 GMC G2500 4x4 van that I absolutely love. I had a mechanic look at the steering which is very loose and he said it needs a lot of work. I would like to do the work myself and so I am scouring the internet for information about the parts that pathfinder may have used when they did the conversion.
I can disassemble the steering linkage and take it to an auto parts store but I've told this is likely to result a mix of parts that fit and don't fit. If there is any information about what parts pathfinder used in the conversion process this would make the process easier and less expensive.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
