trying to find the factory Build sheet information on my 76 gmc c30 1ton dually. With four-wheel-drive. not sure if the four-wheel-drive is factory or not. My Vin number is only 13 digits long and every time I type it in on a website it responds telling me that it’s not found. i’ve tried, adding 4 X’s to the front and rear of the Vin number, and also tried adding zeros to the front and rear of the Vin number to make it 17 digits long. What else could I do? Thanks, Jeffo

The VIN # for a 76 should be 13 letters and numbers. Should start with 3 letters, then 3 numbers followed by another letter and then 6 more numbers??

If it was a factory GMC 4x4 then your first 4 digits will be TK*3
