Taking it to local PD for vin verification tomorrow, and if that clears will probably go ahead and order couple of tires for it.

Got the police inspection, but it is heavily lacking power and it died again as well. Something is off with the spark/ignition

Still dead, but received new tires and traded straight pipes for stock mufflers. Traded up as far as I am concerned just by the condition of these.

Sold the 750 and bought 1100 a while back. Finally dragged the 1100 in to the garage. First things this one needs are tires, ignition and clutch spring flipped. After spending 30min with ratchet and a hammer trying to take the clutch assembly nut off I remembered about that new air impact that I bought a year ago and never used. 5sec after putting impact on the nut, it was off.

DOT over here had a tire balancing rig that`d spin the tire up to probably about 50 or 60 MPH, not sure but it was pretty fast.
A mark was made on the tire before spinning and there was a timing light affair with a sensor on it that hooked to the axle, tire was spun, then take note of the position of the mark while tire was spinning. stop tire from spinning, roll it around until mark is in position as seen when spinning and place a weight at the top, 12 oclock position. Pretty nice and very precise.
One of the mechs, on a weekend, used the machine on His Harley. I imagine that was a pretty smooth ride after that.

too many.
This one probably going for sale once legal and running. Unless it's running well enough that i don't have to mess with it any more.
Need to reduce number of things that I have to work on. Given that 67 is sitting in the garage piled up with things on top.

Patented tire removal process working decent. Easier to just cut the old ones vs trying to pry off the bead.

Man, I love the old shadow 1100! If you get it legal and running good I'd like to buy it. Or at the least check it out. Took my motorcycle license on one.

Part of the reason I don't keep motorcycles long is the lack of a license. I don't have time to take the now mandatory class. And when class was not necessary, I didn't have much funds to put towards the license. I will update if it's going for sale.
For now ordered couple of spark plug wires.

Making some progress. Changing spark plug wire take a bit of disassembly.
