Got the oil fill plug threaded correctly, found cut up battery and fixed ignition switch followed by the gasoline cap repair.

Sweet, i just got a crappier *** bike lol. I guess I'll start a thread too.

Starter was shorted internally. Got it cleaned and fixed the short. Now it cranks but only with a second screw driver upgrade. Starter relay is bad. Next step will be to check the spark and then maybe fire. It also needs a new battery. 19k miles on the odometer.

After adding locking pliers to regulate fuel it can somewhat run.

I have avoided putting any money in it so far. The goal was to at least see if motor is ok before actually spending money on it. Now that it seem to have potential, need to first get better idea if i can get papers for it and if so; to order a carb kit, fuel shutoff valve, battery and maybe a starter relay. Fuel pump is also bad, but I just bypassed it and made sure there was more than min fuel in the fuel tank.

Only issue is that it is out of state. It has to pass inspection to get the paperwork going. Person I got it from thought it was from Mexico, but although it spent time there does not look like it was for Mexico market due to federal stickers and such.
Basically I need to get the cross state vin search done to make sure it does not have issues somewhere
