73 c10 Windshield wiper switch back-light

I am searching for a replacement light. The windshield wiper switch is labeled above the switch, on the bezel, and is illuminated from behind with what i would call a fiber-optic ribbon light. It is riveted to the metal dash behind the bezel. I only wish I'd taped over it before the painter painted it. I would provide pics, but it has been painted and looks nothing like it used too.

Ours we think is a 76.. and some 77 and some 1980 stuff hahah! anyway, our wiper switch is backlit with this type bulb And socket. Same as factory A/C panel.

Can anyone confirm that parts 8 & 9 are the same as what goes into the wiper switch?

@Dleslie212 , we just went LED and Easton loves the look. If you go that route super bright LED’s is the place to go..

Thank you! Is that the same socket you use for your LED bulb?

Yes sir! The bulb from super bright LED only goes in one way (funny I know) to make it work. It makes that backlight on the wipers bright and visible and you can choose a color or just white. Easton wanted blue to match stereo display color
