72 Monte Carlo project

[75 Chevy SWB 4x4]

Here is my 72 Monte Carlo project. I'm the 3rd owner of it.

I built a 414 ci Big Block with a Lunati Voodoo cam, lifters, springs kit, new oversized Ferrea SS valves, Holley Street Demon 750cfm carb, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Hooker Competition ceramic big tube headers, Pypes SS 2-1/2" true dual exhaust system, etc.

It's ready for its new paint job. The car has an original 26,342 miles on it. It got wrecked around '99 or 2000, so it sat on cinder blocks in the yard of the 2nd owner until I bought it in July 2017. It was complete with Cragar SS mags minus the engine and radiator.

This is the same exact Dark Green Mica Pearl paint that it will be painted with. This is my friend's 72 Monte in Finland.

Oh my... you've got one hell of a car in the works there!

And that Chevelle style hood is awesome too! I haven't seen one of those on a Monte Carlo yet. Who makes that?

The cowl induction hood is made by a couple manufacturers. OPGI has it from Restoparts. Goodmark is making it as well as, Golden Star is making it too.
