No I have never driven across the country to buy something either. I've done it a few times to see family and I don't fly.I've never drove across country to buy anything. I drove 6 hours one way to pickup the 5.3 I bought.
I have installed several lockup controllers from Bowler Performance transmissions. Thats all you would need electronic wise. Your driveshaft would need to be shortened as the 700r4 is about 2.5 inches longer. Also crossmember would have to be relocated.

Then I had to clear out memory space on my phone and it ended up on a memory card somewhere. Then I probably saved the one that you posted, but then lost it when my phone got dropped. Then I got this phone a while ago. I just went and Googled "GM transmission lengths" so I could post a chart here and when I picked one to download, it asked if I wanted to download it again. So I went and looked in my photos and sure enough, I had already downloaded that one in the past, lol.

That's only true if the TH350 has a 9" tailshaft, which is somewhat rare. With the more common 12" tailshaft you will need to shorten the drive shaft and relocate the crossmember.700r4 bolts into the same place as a TH 350 and you don't have to shorten the driveshaft. The 700r4 and TH350 or the same length.
Uhhh Not So brutha. The Squarebody Th350 is the 9inch tailshaft Th350. Squarebody is what the 9in was made for and is common as hookers on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. It's the 12in that is rare that most people don't even know exists and why they call the squarebody Th350 a long shaft, when it's actually the Intermediate shaft unit. The 12in was used in station wagons and some vans in the late 60's and early 70's.
