ive talked to a tranny builder and he stated that he could make my 700r handle the 454 power.corvette servo different planetary ect ect.im gonna try that route hope it works for me

To build a strong 700 it needs lots of $$$$.

I had a 700r behind a built 454 years ago. worked all right, was abused a few times. never had a really solid feeling about it, always in the back of my mind kind of thing.
