The new Chevy 6500 medium duty trucks are most comparable to the '03-'09 4500's and 5500's. 19.5's and 6.6L Duramax only. The current 6500 cannot be ordered with similar capacities and durability as the old models.
The majority of the newe heavier medium duty trucks in fleets seem to be Internationals and Freightliners of some flavor. Sometimes I'll see a newer F750, but not often. GM seemed to stop trying to cater to this market after they finally killed off the Kodiak and Topkick. They did let Navistar use the cab, frame, and driveline off of the 2014-2018 Trucks to build the CV, but the end result appears to not differ much from a regular Silverado 6500.

The only thing different between the GM truck and the International CV is the grille.

I still see a lot of the later F750's. But the Freightliners and Internationals do seem to be most common.
