I own one and although it would actual fit in the truck in question, it is indeed gutless. There seems to be no aftermarket tuners that offer box truck performance packages but maybe I just didn't google deeply enough? I learned a long time ago that the wheel doesn't need to be reinvented but not all of us got the memo.
Speaking of gutless box trucks.... what engine is in a 2004 gmc savanna 3500 box van?? Whatever it is it MAJOR gutless. What’s the Isuzu four cylinder ?
That’s in all the box trucks
Someone used to make a flywheel and motor mounts to put it in a Chevy
I have a Chevy W3500/Isuzu NPR. It just depends on what dealer you ordered from. I wouldn't go the diesel route ever again though. I should have gotten the 6.0 in it.GM 6500/7500? We haven't found anyone that can tune them either.
LMMFAO I thought it was your brothers friends second cousins nephews uncle? My brother said it would fit.

I’m usually right at 12,000 pounds. It wasn’t any faster when it was new and empty though. Mine is the 5.2l with automatic.Ah see now. You have the 4 cyl version. Do you put much weight in it? I have to give the 7.8 some credit, because while it might be slow and guttless, it doesn't get much worse when you make it pull some weight around.
I think you should give it a shot.I find it funny so many people are making fun of the idea but I was doing more research as you folks should do it will fit if i cut the firewall [emoji2369]
