4x4 with 31x10.5/15 tire. Anyone running this size tire on stock lift??

So I picked up a K10 with the original 6 lug rally wheels. That was one reason I wanted a 6 lug truck.(love the rally wheel look) I wanted to have a stock look (factory look) on the outside, with all modern internal's on the inside. So tire size is my next debate. This will be a daily driver. The k10 has new mud tires on it now. I dont like them or even the look. To off road for me and Im sure they are road noise from hell.
I have no plans on lifting the truck. I have a 86 2WD that has 31x10.5 tires and it looks pretty good. Im guessing that would be a good size for the k10 but would like to see what it looks like on a 4x4 before i commit. the tires are $300 a piece and I dont want to make a bad decision.

I have 31s on an 85 Silverado K10 shortbed. According to the glovebox, that was what it came with new.
I have them on a 1980 GMC K15 longbed that originally had 235 15s and they look sharp.
I also have them on a 1979 K5.
All are on 6 lug ralleys and none are lifted trucks.

Yep, that looks like the same setup that I have with the stock ride height.. great stance, never any rubbing

As far as I can tell I see no indications of it being lifted BUT these trucks aren't my strong suit

Same size tire but more of a street tread on factory steel wheels with 1.5" spacers (they were on it when I bought it last month)

I have a stock 87 V10 4 X 4, stock height, original springs no lift. It has 32 X 11.50 mud tires on stock rally wheels on it and it looks great, perfect in my opinion. A little better than 31 X 10.50.

I see this thread is a few months old.
Pardon me if you got the info you were looking for earlier...

265/75 R15 will work and can be found in 10 ply, if you search hard, with good quality road treads.

Just bought 2 of these and they were affordable and looked very good quality, so far.
Could be an option? Five stars from the previous buyers...

IDK. Everything is getting downsized.

If you ever install a 14-Bolt rear end, to avoid the c-clip issue, they match up pretty close to Yokohama Geo HT 245/75R16, so your 4wd will synchronize without tearing up your transfer case.

Mine were supposed to be within 1/2 inch according to the specs.
When they are installed, it might be less than that because of manufacturer.
Air'd up, they are very close diameter and width.

They are taller than the 31.5x10R15 that my truck came with and is door sticker-ed to run.

I verified the 265/75 R15 are also OEM option for my truck, and although the door sticker is supposedly important, GM shipped these trucks with either tires all the time.

Whatever you do, match the tire diameter with a calculator for tire size comparison, or the transfer case with get ruined. What they state might be wrong, as well.
I know these two current versions work, as paired.

Hope this helps if you are trying to find better 10 ply tires for the 15's.
