4x4 Headers, Flowtech 11500FLT

Trying to figure out what headers to buy for my ‘76 K15 that’s getting a 383 with vortec heads. Place locally has these flowtech 11500flt and I’m wondering if anyone has thrown these on their square and if they had any issues(?).

Any recommendations?

I had them on my 4x4 '77 K5, then later swapped them to my '84 2wd C10. No fitment issues at all on either of them. @Swims350 has them now, but I don't remember if they are on his C10 or his K10.

headers I got from you went out with that other k10 I had. I got car stainless headers on my k10 and dads c10 but the ones from my k10 are on the TA just dont fit anything lol

I've heard it said that only people that have issues with things are the ones that post about it. You never hear of the ones that don't have troubles with things. Based on that, you may be right.

It's all about the quality of the parts being used and the quality of the work put into the install. If you use the the right stuff, there's never any issues. Lots of people do poor installations and use the crappiest paper gaskets they can find.

I've never had an exhaust leak using Remflex gaskets. Use quality bolts and torque them correct with quality gaskets and they will never come loose or leak. I've had multiple manifolds crack over time and/or rust the bolts/studs in them to the point of being permanently installed. All of my stuff with headers and v-band or ball/socket collector connections are quick and easy to remove and never leak.

Exactly. I'll only add that the multi-layer aluminum gaskets kick a$$ too. And there's no need for any kind of fancy locking bolts, just quality hardened bolts that are torqued properly, like you said.
