I have a 4 inch lift and 315/70-17 on my k30 cucv.

Just a note for the original poster. I didn't know until I purchased my K30 last year that the K30 frames are 2" taller than 1/2 & 3/4 ton frames. I installed a 3" lift on my K30 recently and it turned out 1" taller than my last truck (1/2 ton) with a 4" lift. Both were Tuff Country springs.

There are a lot of online calculators that show the right gears for tire sizes to return RPM's to correct ranges (stock RPM's). You might investigate some of those to see what gear ratios you need to stay within acceptable RPM range. They take transmissions, auto vs, manual as well as OD transmissions into account.

Might want to check to be sure your in the proper RPM range with your gears. YMMV.

This kinda gives you an idea on tire height vs gear ratio. Having 35's and 4.10 gears isn't too bad unless your engine is tired and you like to tow up large hills.
