454 TBI Unit for Conversion

I'm going to be needing a 454 TBI unit. Also will be needing either an intake adapter for the Qjet intake like came on 87-90 TBI motors, or a 454 TBI intake manifold.

Please No warped useless junk.

Needs to be cheap or willing to trade some parts.

These adapters were factory? Can I get a picture of one form someone?

On the 87-90 they were. GM just used the Q jet intakes. In 91, GM used a TBI intake.

God damn it dude, I just threw all that stuff away.

In all honesty though it is just junk, that adapter is so god damn thick if you tried to use it with any after market intake manifold your air cleaner housing will contact the hood. As of right now I have a regular performer intake, not a high rise or even air gap manifold and even with the thin steel plate adapter the air cleaner barely clears the hood.

The only place better that intake manifold could have gone other than a trash can is at the bottom of the ocean keeping boats from drifting away. Surely the city with the worlds fastest street cars has a swap meet somewhere with a good aluminum spread bore manifold for cheap. Then all you need is the cheap flat steel adapter plate and your golden.

I'd go with an Eddy TBI intake if cash wasn't an issue, so I don't really have a choice but to go with the OEM junk.

That do look like the ****. Any idea of the functional condition?

I'm hoping this plan isn't another pipe dream. I know I need to get a TBI tank and pump too. It appears a 40 gallon Burb tank won't fit between the rear axle and bumper. I figured that out yesterday. And I also need find hard fuel lines for the whole trip to the TBI.

The throttle body was running when it was removed but it's been sitting on a shelf for years now. I would assume the TPS and IAC are still good but it may need a gasket kit, no idea about injectors once they've sat so long. It's dirty and dusty but NOT beat up.

The adapter appears to be cast iron so it's fine, just surface rust.

I'll be honest, I'm on the fence about selling the stuff so I'm not going to give it away but if you're interested pm me and maybe we can work something out.
