Finally got the stereo performing to my liking.

Memphis 750 watt rms pushing the 12inch sub. Swapped to a 4 channel (300wx4) amp with active crossovers to drive the 3 way component speakers (woofers, mids, tweets). It's pretty awesome. Definitely shakes the truck and puts a quiver in your liver.

Added a 1.5 fared capacitor. It not only helped the amps but the entire electrical system, especially when the dual electric fans kick on.

Oh yeah, the part not seen that makes the bass. How do you fit a 27 inch square port in a 29 inch box? Very carefully. Tuned to memphis specs and cranking out a very pleasant 33 Hz.

Does it go into the bed!?

Yes. There's just no way to get this level of performance with the space constraints of a single cab. I have no regrets. I got the box Line X'd. It' turned out awesome.

I must have missed something in the thread, but where did you put this box? In the bed? The covering on the box looks professional. Do you do this for a living? You should take up a side line income. Building sterio systems for people who'd rather stay in due to covid, than go out. You could advertise it, "Shut in? Don't want to go out? Want to have your tunes comfort you? Call XXXX @ #" and all that other cell phone stuff.
