Well apparently this truck came equipped with a 350C???? Which is just a lockup converter 350?

But now it seems to have either a regular 350 or i dont know what.

Anywho, i need overdrive. So what would it take to put and operate a 700r in here. And what model 700?

Here is what rhw truck has on the firewall that is not being used.....and under the truck

you need od on something with 2.73 gears? wow. That looks like a lok up convertor plugin to me. I'd say it definately was or is a c at one point maybe still is just unhooked?

pretty sure on 700's you want the later years ones, then you'd need to move the crossmember, I'm pretty sure and another driveshaft or yours cut or strecthed to fit depending on your current tail shaft length.

it does not have 2.73s it has 3. 42s. I was wrong when I typed that.the current transmission has to be just a regular 350 because there is no connector for that 4 prong thing n thetransmission

so I would need to do physical modifications for the transmission to fit, but what about electrical or controlling it

I thought the long case th350 and 700r4 were the same size. I swapped the 350 for a700 with no prob. If you have the th350c lockup wiring I'd use that minus the trans lockup connector. It's work just the same
