350 Upgrades & Progress

All the way down to where it would've been easy to replace an old worn cam and lifters - but no go !? And maybe a new oil pump and oil pan gaskets too !?

Looking alot better.
Is this the original engine and is it high mileage ?

I did replace the pan gasket with a fel-pro 1-piece. No cam and lifters yet but I will in the future. This is not the original, its a goodwrench 350 crate motor.

I was n the same boat as you. I'm almost ready to drop motor. just replacing both gas tanks/ sending units/ valve selector.

Nice! what did you use on the frame? Once I get it road ready and everything running good Im going to start fixing the body and slowly get around to painting it.

Fired it up today!!!! Got it running good, barely have to bump the key and it fires right up!! Again, HUGE thanks to everyone on this forum, its been a great help....

Excellent!

BTW, Rustoleum gloss black is a match for the factory frame color. Black is black.

Works best over their Rust Brown Primer.

FINALLY!! I got it timed right, replaced the calipers and hoses, got all the interior back in and even put new dash speakers in. But its at the Muffler shop right now getting my new 2.5" exhaust put on and an inspection and ill finally be ready for the road! I Feel like a kid the night before Christmas lol im waiting for the call to go get it!
