350 to 454 swap

I'm swaping the motor on my v20 to a 454 out of a 94 burb will the computer be compatible w it any issues I should be concerned about?it should be a easy swap I'm thinking thanks all

If you're just using your '87 harness and ECM, you should be fine. The TPS sensor has a different connector so you'll need to swap those, and make sure to swap the intake manifold sensor carrier from your old one to the new one because, unless the '94 was a standard transmission, it didn't have the ESC module outside the ECM like the old ones did. The 454 of that year used a 30 pound fuel pump, and the 350 never did. The '87-'93 454's shared the SBC pump so it'll clearly work with both. I'm not sure if the ideal solution there is to swap or leave it alone.

You will need to find a chip for the 87 from an 87-91(I think) with a 454 as the 359 wont have the correct fuel and spark tables. Also if you are taking the tranny from the 94 you will need a computer to operate it unless its a manual. Best bet is take everything from the 94 you can so you have it if needed.
