33"x10.50 before lift

Can I run a skinny 33" with no lift? I'm going to need tires before I can afford a lift, so to avoid buying tires twice, can I run a 33x10.50R15 without having to trim my finders?

Some say yes. I have 285/75r16s on stock suspension and it fits good with just a little wiggle room. So unless your suspension is sagged it should fit ok. But Im not positive about that.

I have 305/65/r17s and there is no rub whats so ever, then again it is also leveled.

It will depend greatly on your rims. I used to run 33's on 15x10 steel rims (with stock back spacing) and had no rubbing issues. Sames tires on 15 x 10 aluminum wheels rubbed on any little dip and while making sharp turns. The backspacing was a bit less than the steels.

I've got stock steel rims. Not sure about the width, but they aren't very wide, 7-8" maybe.

You shouldnt have a problem, but depending if your suspension has sagged at all, you might rub a bit.

In the past I was running 33x10.5r16 on my 2wd stock height and there was no rub. As of now I am running a 32x10.5r18. I love the look of bigger tires on a stock truck.

Rearch existing or get new leafs.
