I was thinking the same thing. Just needed to be pushed over that edge. The normal stuff I use is actually 2.750 ID. Thanks for your insight.:cheers:
Splitting the difference, I don't think that would hurt anything..

Splitting the difference, I don't think that would hurt anything..

I was also thinking going the 2.750 from the headers to the mufflers then 3.5" into the 5" holes coming out of the bed. Most of the system would be the smaller size. Total system length is roughly 6 1/2 feet

I done a similar deal like that before and worked good.
