What are you looking for in one? I have a stripped down srw 4x4 one that I am considering getting rid of, as it is way down the project list, so will probably never get to.

I’m over in SW MS

I’m not really shopping but a crew cab and being cheap caught my eye.

Is yours cheap?

@vr1967 let me rephrase that - what have you got?

With respect to today’s skyrocketing market pricing I tend to be a little jaded / skeptical, sorry.

Seller's description

1985 C30 3+3, Custom, 6.2, 4sp. This truck is very straight and cancer free. The floors, sills, rockers, cab corners and frame mounts look better than the top side. I got this a few years ago, then changed plans. Manifold and injection pump are off of motor. PO started tearing into it, then got transferred out of JBLM. I lost the signed title I got with it:( New Years cleanup, old projects need to go. Tires hold air, can roll onto trailer, but WON'T start. Vehicle is in Granite Falls, I'm not, so I'll have to meet you there. There is rust around the front driver/pass sill in the usual place. Door skins are rusting at the bottom. The bed has rust holes. There is a rust hole above the passenger rear door. Pass rear door sill is rusty, Tailgate is ugly. See new pics

Looks like a pretty good deal, even though he lost the title.
Definitely worth the price if a guy was in the area and also had the space. Most states you can file for a new title with a little bit of work

You can try to get a title, some states it's a lot of work, unless you were the last registered owner or you have a power of attorney from the last registered owner, then its easy. But I can't just apply for a new title to just anyone's truck, even with a bill of sale. Anyone can steal a truck and sell it with a bill of sale.States don't make it easy for just anybody to apply for a new title if your name never appears in the vehicles history. There will be circumstances and conditions and variances from state to state, but I've had vehicles I tried to get titles for that it was more time trouble and money than it was worth, end game I used them as parts cars.

Agreed. Not worth it here. Trucks without titles here that are priced like trucks with titles never sell. If they do it's really low. Or some sucker that hasn't learned that lesson.

Probably worth it for parts like the frame and drivetrain, the cab is pretty roached with the top of the pillars like that anyways.

I'll never understand how people can't keep track of a single piece of paper that is pretty important. Pisses me off actually, I know **** happens but come on man, every other truck I see has no title.

I saw a guy say he didn't have a title, but he could get one for a fee!!!!
The fee is your $1500 overprice ya asshat. What good is a $3000 vehicle with no title??

In Connecticut even if you have a title being that old you won’t get one back. Pain in the ass if you go to sell because New York and Massachusetts require one.
