2WD 3/4T lift?

I know it sounds dumb, lifting a 2WD. But Id like to lift the front end especially, back end doesnt matter so much. Id like it to stand a little prouder.

Do they even make lift kits for the front end of a 2WD truck?

Taller/Stiffer springs does not always work. The distance between upper and lower ball joints is determined by the spindle assembly itself. All a taller spring will probably do is make it a stiffer ride, not lift it, unless it's got tired springs.

I've seen ball joint assemblies that will offer some lift without changing out the spindles all together. An inch or 2 is about all you'll get that way though.

yeah, an inch or two is all I need/want. perhaps new front susp components will do this anyway and what I saw was just tired old parts letting her front sag. But, if you know of any parts specifically, please do tell. As long as Im buying the parts, might as well get those. thx

It is very possible that NEW untired springs will do what you want.

Definitely use new springs and if a little extra is needed you may use an airbag that goes inside the spring.

Me and my brother did a suspention lift on his 2wd 1500 suburban. We used 3/4 ton suburban springs. Bought them new at the parts store and 2in. lift blocks for the back. Lifted it two inches and it cleared 33-12.50r15 with close but no touching unless it's flexed out on a major incline. It was a cheap lift and he was happy. It rode rough because the front upper control arms where at the bump stops on frame. Might of got more lift if we shaved them down.

Moog Part # 6454 from oreillys gained 2". Will settle with time about 1/2". Will be purchasing ride rite helper bag kit off summit for rear cause it squats now when towing. Noticed hardly no change in ride wuality up front
