250i6 to 454 swap

I’m swapping my 250 i6 to a 454 motor and tranny out of a 72 Monte Carlo do I need to move the motor mounts so I don’t hit the firewall? And to anyone who has don’t this what we’re some other challenges you had?

I replaced the 250 six in my 82 C10 with a small block. The frame brackets are the same for 250 six and small block, but I had to relocate them outboard on the crossmember. The holes to do this are already drilled, so no fabrication or drilling required. Also had to use different clamshells -- the brackets that bolt to the engine. GM calls these "bracket, engine mt".

If you have patience and time, go here, do a search, and you will be able to find the right P/N for your truck with a big block.

Well, I found this page fro 73-78 454, but all it seems to list is the brackets that mount to the frame.
