You would be fine with these tires as long as your rim width and backspacing is stock (8-8.5" and 4.5").I know but for 235 or 265 I would liked to know if I could go a little taller and a little wider with the stock four-wheel-drive high truck
A little taller and wider, depending how and where you drive, can work.
I keep going back to how the truck is used. Some guys idea of off roading is different than others!
As well I also remind that it depends where the cab is located on the frame. There is a little room for adjustment and if the cab
is all the way forward vs all the way back makes a difference.
My '86 k2500 has 265/75/16s and tires do not rub, even if twisted to the point my steering doesn't work. My cab is all the way
back on the mounts. If it was pushed forward I might get a little rub down when twisted.
Sorry I can't advise for sure how anything bigger would fit. Take note k2500 is a little taller than a 1500...
