I do`nt know if that is or is`nt a good price.
I have a 97 FXDWG, the only problem I have encountered with this machine is, there`s no room to carry if You would decide to make a journey, like how to tie on sleeping bag/bedroll, tent, extra clothing and not limited to, when it gets hot and You want to shed some leathers, along with having Your gear tied on now, where do You tie on the leathers.
I havce seen the Heeritage softails and even some of the bigger touring bikes in the 06 and 07 model years for that same price and not many more than that for miles, shop around, see what else is out there.
Now if I wanted a machine to cruise the city and hit the open roads, without packing anything extra, then this would be the bike, the handling and performance is just absolutely great, they are a fairly light machine with a lot of horses and can be pumped up even more.

Good lookin bike kleedus, makes me miss mine. I had an '05 DWG, great for around town and solo long rides and lots of accessories for them too.

it is the nada guides high book price this bike is in perfect condition and has been babied since new.
if I can't get my price I don't give a **** I owe nothing on it it does not eat anything I will just stuff it in storage for ever and let it crumble to ******* dust before I give it away.
it is a awesome bike its a stretched out chopper style bike not a ******* barker lounger bagger
I had a set of throw over saddle bags I used
and they have all kinds of saddle bags and little handle bar bags for them if you really need to pack the kitchen sink with you or a taller sissy bar to strap a leather too
I am not a die hard biker if I plan a trip of more than a couple hundred miles it would be on a trailer and my fat ass would be in a air conditioned truck with a soft comfy seat
