Well I got my frame painted and ready for things to start going back together. Got the new piston a couple days ago and the cylinder and things should be here before long. It'll be ready in no time unless I get distracted.

Starting re-assembly this week. Failed to take a lot of pictures along the way. Anyway, here is a status update.

I have heard it running now! Need a new gasket on the waterpump drain. It's dripping, failed to get a new one in the first place so it's my fault. Waiting on some other odds and ends to come in the mail now and a petcock rebuild kit and I will be calling this thing done.

Got everything wrapped up last night except fixing the forks really highlighted how bad the rear shock is.

I still need to get a rear fender since the one that came on it was for a newer bike and didn't fit good and now rebuild the rear shock but pretty good. It was dark last night so no pics but after getting it running I couldn't get it to take gas well. I had the awfullest time tracking it down and finally realized it wasn't exhausting well. Found this nest packed in the expansion chamber LOL

I may not update this one anymore. It's pretty well done enough that I'll be riding it with no time for the internet. That jump got video'd though in case you guys want to see it.

The yz found itself a new home yesterday. I suppose this thread is done now. The KTM won for the trail riding I do and the wife was convinced I couldn't ride both at the same time but she was unwilling to let me try

When my wife asks me why I need so many bikes I tell her it's for when we go to the dunes I have one for every day.
