I poured the correct amount into the tank according to the directions on the bottle.

It seems to have helped.
I did the fuel pump a couple years ago, so that should not have caused the issue.

It still does some weird stuff every once in a while, but a can of Seafoam has made the difference.

I get the big can(~20oz) and put ~5oz in the oil 100 miles before each oil change and then pour the rest in the fuel tank. I've got dual 20 gal, so I alternate which tank it goes in each time. Seems to be cleaning out the gunk in the engine pretty good and keeps the whole fuel system cleaner
