Yeah, my Dad wouldn't let me buy a Doge Charger at 16. He was right though.

Ah ha! :birgits_tiredcoffee

Spoke to Gary Camaro today.

We wants to install the #113s!
I has an AC Delco Professional water pump too.
After looking at it too hard for too long? She's gonna get a new PS pump and lines at that time too.

$1000 after Thanksgiving? I supply the parts.

Just in time for Christmas!
:(

Pritty.danged.shure. I bought an actual 1LE aluminum space saver donut spare tire from Gary too.
Think it would be in this thread? but he might have wanted too much for it... I can't remember! :mad3:mighta costed $200 so he kept it.
There was one for sale.. did I buy it?
The trade seems familiar.
Maybe I just bought a donut cuz I didn't have a spare.. that maybe right too, dangit!
Aluminum heads will be cool, they're 58cc.

Sounds like something I would have done. Woulda paid 80 bucks for it too but not 200.
We shall see!

Didn't the po fill your spare tire compartment with spray foam? I have a doughnut tire in my 2015 camaro. Actually had to use it once too. Glad I had it. :Big Laugh:

Oh yeah!

It did have spray foam in it.. I took it out though.
Been a very long time since I looked back there - lets's go see what's in it!
Hold on.

Ahh! This is a fun game!

It's like treasure!
Uber cool.... Where's the spare tire anyways? Weeeee!

I remember cleaning out the spare tire well now - and see somebody has installed a brand new and correct, steel donut spare with all the proper hardware.
Some foam remains. Old boy Gary must have wanted too much for the 1LE jobby or maybe I was being poor that day.

There are some for sale on ebay starting at $109.
I offered the cheapest guy 80 bucks and he countered with a Ben.
Pass.
I said 80.

I have a problem.... spending on ebay is a favorite pastime of mine. I'm sure i'll get one eventually. ;)

Fun fact, those aren't the ones that were actually used on a 1LE, despite everyone calling them the "1LE spare". They won't even fit a real 1LE car because they won't clear the PBR brakes, lol. The actual 1LE spare looks like a garden variety, steel space saver spare, but are 15" (rather than 14") and the rim is stamped aluminum instead of steel.

Back when I had my 2010 CTS-V it didn't come with a spare, just an air pump and a bottle of flat fix. I had to buy one of these spare kits for a standard CTS then get a 1.5" spacer so it could work on the front if I had a flat.

Hey @Rusty Nail I think the dip at the store overcharged you for the head gaskets. I can get these locally for less, and the entire overhaul set for what you paid for head gaskets. And I live in the land of over-inflation. Did the dip provide any lube as you got bent over?
