I'm working on my 1987 GMC Jimmy it has a 6" lift. Energy suspension seems to be the only kit i find that is complete. on one of the sites in the description it says " no Lift " and I'm not understanding.. shouldnt it be the same? this is my first time doing this I'm tired of riding feeling like my jimmy is a horse and buggy was told to replace the body mount bushings so im just trying to gather information before i start this so that i get the right bushings and do this right any help.information is appreciated ,

THANKS!!!

I've always heard that for body mounts you want rubber and not poly. These aren't race cars, you want a little give in your bushing.

Lmc and most of the other big parts places sell body bushing kits. Your lift shouldn't be a consideration for which bushings to buy. With suspension lifts the relationship between the body and chassis remains the same regardless of lift height.

It saying "no lift" just means it's stock height and not a body lift. Alot of guys put 3" bodylifts on for some extra clearance.

Sounds like you have a 6” suspension lift.
The kit you’re looking at is referencing a body lift.

Suspension lift will lift the truck from the frame up.
A body lift is just that, lifts the body up from the frame.

Your Jimmy has a short wheel base, the short wheel base will tend to have a teeter totter effect, that becomes more pronounced with a suspension lift.
