Hello,new member,first post. My truck had two air pumps that I removed,now I would like to remove the air tubes.can anybody tell me if there is a part number for the plugs I need,I don't know if thy are NPT,or some sort of flush fit..Thanks for your time.

Can't say without a picture - several different designs.

One thing for sure it's not NPT. No taper - actually it's like a big brake line connection. Double flare and straight threads.

The threads do not provide any sealing - its all done at the flare/seat interface.

A lot of people just cut the tube off flush with the top of the fitting, drill and tap to accept a 3/8" (or 1/4" depending on the size of your tubes) pipe plug. Looks like the image below when finished. The fittings were removed for clarity, no need to remove them - it's actually easier to do in place:

Thanks for the info,I guess I'm in for a job,no matter how I go. I think the manifolds are stainless. This is my daily driver,I was looking for a fast fix,lol..

It won't be hard - those injection tubes pop right out:

Unscrew the fittings, pull the nozzles out with a pair of needle nose or a pick. Find or make a piece of sheet metal the same diameter as the nozzle (where it sits in under the fitting) and then just screw the fitting back in.

The port will be blocked off to atmosphere and it will still look good.

Probably a penny or a nickel would fit right in the bore.

I think one was,it was a long time ago. I picked this truck up in Arizona,and I'm guessing it is some kind of Cali emission set up. I'm going to pull all of that stuff off. Thanks for all of the info.
