Selling my k30 3+3. Its a great truck and I've had a great time driving it with much help from people on this forum helping me figure out tuning and whatnot. I've been daily driving it for the last few months to work and back and it's had zero hiccups. Having to sell now because family/life plans are changing and I need something newer with air bags and a little more modern safety features. Unfortunately an almost 40 year old truck and 24 year old jeep aren't "family friendly" vehicles. Go figure. Anyway, here are the details
454 4 bolt main, th400, np205, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear
Recently replaced:
Spark plugs
Wires
Air filter
Distributor (msd street fire)
Starter
Steering box
Power steering pump
alternator (cheap chineese one from autozone, but I have the original Delco Remy one that I was planning on rebuilding)
Brakes (front calipers, rotors, pads, rear shoes)
Brake Master cylinder
front brake lines
Exhaust (long tube headers, true duals, thrush mufflers)
Carburetor rebuild (Quadrajet, electric choke conversion)
Rear main seal
Oil pan gasket
Trans pan and gasket
Trans shift modulator
Speedometer
Oil pressure sending unit
Water pump
6 relatively new tires (~1000 miles ago)
All 4 shocks
Front leaf spring/shackle bushings
Drag link
Engine mounts
Gauge cluster printed circuit
Clearance lamp housings
LED headlights (I also have a set of sealed beam Sylvania's too)
Grille
Has Retrosound Bluetooth head unit with 6 new speakers and 2 10” subs behind back seat, although the sound quality isn't great.
Relatively new dash pad (no rips). No seat rips. Has an aftermarket tachometer and vacuum gauge. Led dash lights. Heat and ac work. No water leaks in cab (door seals were replaced probably within the last few years).
Has a couple small rust spots on the body in usual places. Worst rust in picture. No rust on frame. Originally California truck and I have some documentation to go with it. Interior was coated in Bedliner which isn't great. the PO also sprayed over the original paint/clear coat on the passenger side of the cab. I tried to fix it and quickly realized I need more practice with HVLP so it looks decent from 50 yards. Also, I haven't been able to get the voltmeter on the dash to work for some reason. The ac compressor clutch has also started to squeal at startup. If I was going to keep the truck, I'd probably rebuild it, but it still blows cold.
Truck doesn't leak a drop and starts up with no issue every time. Asking $18k. Located in Houston, Tx.
