Does anyone have a picture of a 1985 GMC Sierra dash cluster with the factory tach. I know the exist but I've never seen one in person. Id like to convert a non tach gauge cluster to a tach but need to see where the fuel gauge moves to for a tach gauge option.

It moves the fuel gauge to one of the smaller gauge holes off to the side.

Chuck is right, move's it to where the factory clock's usually are, or the old e-brake light

Anyone ever used one with this hookup. I'm wondering if the factory cluster has the provision there even if it doesn't have a tach. Or could I just run power, ground and to the distributor from the tach and move the fuel gauge?

Yes, hook the three wires as stated, Ignition power on, ground and last to the distributor tach connection.

If you find and choose a fuel gauge from a medium duty truck or different model like a Blazer or Suburban, you need to remove and install your original fuel gauge resistor on the back.
