Had her running absolutely mint for past few months. Had literally drove around for a few hours the night before fast forward next morning I start her up and she just instantly keeps dying unless I keep my foot hammered on the gas.

Black smoke out of exhaust
Valve cover breather smokes hard
Gas leaks like crazy out of side of carb all of a sudden like a waterfall amount

Choke is staying on? Has new electric choke
Fuel pumps good
Fuel filter is good
Never had old/bad gas in it

When it comes to carb I got no clue what I’m doing what so ever Thinking has to be something with carb/choke

The float is stuck open. Whack the side of the carb with a wrench. You should check the oil for gas also.

That one vid is the longest it’s ever ran usually starts instantly what’s happening it takes like 10 cranks than starts rough as **** and then will idle up and run somewhat okay and then slowly almost sounds like it’s bogging hard and is deprived of like fuel or air and then dies UNLESS u hit the pedal

And no it’s not out of gas

Disconnect and plug the fuel line so you have no gas coming into the carburetor. Then start it up and see if it smooths out and runs until the float bowl is empty. If it seems to idle and run fine, then it’s definitely a problem with the float, needle/seat, etc.

The choke isn't opening all the way. It should stick straight up and down basically. Did you adjust it properly?

Watching the first vid the choke appears to be working close to correct. It doesn't sound like the fast idle cam engaged though. It should be running around 1100 rpm. Sounds like its puttering at a normal idle.

Also didn't see a waterfall fuel leak.

FWIW, sticking EGR valve did this on my 4.3L. Low manifold vacuum at idle to 1100 rpm was one of the symptoms also.

If it's pouring fuel out, it is flooding, the only things that can make fuel pour out of the carbureator is,needle and seat, float,or excess fuel pressure. If tapping on the carburetor didn't make the flooding stop it's time to pull the top off the carb. Unless it has recently had the fuel pump changed,in which case I'd recommend checking fuel pressure, lots of the new pumps are out of spec.
