Hey guys, Im new to this page! Ive been an owner of a square body since I was 13 years old and have the same truck now! I started with an 83 2wd longbed c10 farm truck my old man gave me as my first vehicle to work on! Did a bunch of bad body work, headers, dual exhaust, and some other goofy kid customizations! when I was 17 and working at the local auto parts store. I picked up a 79 gmc sierra 4x4, 350, 3speed with granny gear for 400 bucks. I then tore both trucks apart and built my truck as a rough mud truck. When I was 19, I decided that I wanted to do a frame up resto on the truck after my dad and I did his 66 longbed. so I tore it apart and did just that. Decided to join the military at 20, and then left for boot when I was 21. Trucks still at home in Wisconsin, I work on it when I go home on leave and the ol man tinkers on it from time to time to keep the progress going! I get out in 3 years from now and plan on finishing her up. Just need some bedsides, maybe a cowl hood, and then time for paint! The truck got named bloodrunner in high school cause I was in a deathmetal band and was also kindof a redneck at the same time. Some buddies and I came up with the fitting name and it stuck. Bloodrunner became the name of our first album and had a picture of a square body coverd in blood on the cover! So that's me and my trucks story as of now! I hope to have a good time on this forum!

What's up Andrew, No I've been out of the Corps for a long time, but if you work with us , you know how we are "Semper Fi, Till I Die". I was 88-94. I was born and raised in San Diego, Marine brat, my dad retired out of the Corps in 75 as a DI. What base are you stationed at?

ha hell ya, Im out at NAS north Island Coronado. We are 1 of 2 navy helo squadrons that only do combat support for any assets that need us. Ive been in for 3, and I got 3 more to go! My trucks back home in Wisconsin. I work on it when I go home on leave. You still out in SD?
