1982, switch on the gas pedal?

What's the switch or linear rheostat/potentiometer on the gas pedal for? There's an orange wire from it that went to a plug on the TH400 transmission that was in the truck.

Don't need that with the 700R4, but is anything else connected to that?

Before the swap, did you have a TV cable running to the TH400? If not, I would assume the POT was used to kick down the TH400.

Could be horribly wrong though.

You could always hook up a cowl intake flapper like the old 80-81 Z28s had!

May want to save the switch somewhere, from what i understand they are hard to find.

OK, so a combo. Flamethrower, squat suspension, open a flap for more air intake and shoot the NOS.

All on a C3500 flatbed dually.
