depends on what you want, a project, long or short, a driver, a show truck etc.

.

If it runs, smokes, knocks, if it slips or pulls, tires good, fluids etc. alot of rust etc.

The truck doesn't have much rust it will be my mud truck and my hunting truck it does start tires are ok and the AR is a beast I could easily sell it for 1900 all day long but I do want something to mess around with, the interior is in not good shape but he has everything to restore it he just hasn't but everything together.

well you need to ask yourself if the truck is worth 1900, something farily complete and not much rust is easily sold for that price here.

If you can get 1900 out of a .223 AR I would rather do that then offer the guy a thousand for the truck, unless he really wants the gun. It's hard to comment about either with so little info.

Yeah the guy really likes the AR I have 2400 sitting on the gun, but I have plenty of fire arms. The truck has a 305 and he said he would throw in the 350 that is sitting there as well, the engine has about 500 miles on it, he has all of the trim lights everything needed. The gas in the truck is old so I am going to siphon out the fule and put fresh gas in there. I don't want to beat my 4x4 up too bad so I need something that can look good and also to a good job on the trail and dirt roads, I just don't know what to look for in these Chevys I happen to be a ford guy but found a good deal I will upload more pictures when I get home

Trading for a $1900 gun, stick to fords. No way is that a good deal. For $1900 for a basket case truck, I'm expecting big block or diesel, and full 1 ton drivetrain. If it's a 1/2 ton, and I'm posting that kind of money, I beyer be able to fire it up and drive it home.
