Does anyone have a picture of a 78 GMC square with the GMC unobtainable grille removed? Picture of front of truck from fender to fender just the grille and light bezels removed.

Curious as to why/what you're looking for? We don't have a GMC specifically but I think we've got a '78 Chevy out back I could get pictures of.

The center brace bolts directly to the core support. Looks likes someone forgot to unbolt it before and twisted it up pretty good or something like that.

The outer brackets go on the ribs with those two cage nuts, with the nut on the bracket going up to be bolted to the upper filler panel.

Awesome, don't believe the center piece was bolted when I took it apart. Was my dads truck from New. Pulled engine rebuilding it with roller cam and newer parts, decided to clean and paint engine bay. Slowly going back together.

I have an '80 K25, they should be the same core support from 78-80. Mines assembled, but you can see the bottom mount from underneath. Here's what mine looks like.
