1976 C10 Custom Deluxe Stepside Shortbed- First Project

Hi, I'm Rick. My dad had one of these and I just think they look cool. I grew up helping him, but got more general exposure rather than specific know-how. My truck is roadworthy, but could use upgrades and repairs almost everywhere. I'd like to tighten up the 3 on the tree, but parts/info are limited and total disassembly looks pretty intimidating. Maybe a swap for an auto or floor shifter is in the future if the 3ott gives up. I've got to remove some failing oil undercoat. Redo the dash. New brake lines. New doors and fenders. Replace the wood bed floor. I'm hoping that this forum is a good community and to share knowledge and experience as I get it.

Thanks, I originally wanted a fleetside, but once I got this, I realized how nice the stepper is to load from the front.
