my steering wheel wants to turn to the right and is hard turning to left. Hydro boost does need replacing but wondering if anyone has encountered a problem like this or could the steering box also be bad. A friend added Lucas power steering stop leak into the power steering pump thinking it may help the problem but I think it may be worse. could a clogged valve be solely in the hydro boost causing the weird steering issues?

Likely a bad spool valve in box. Do yourself a favor buy a Red Head rebuilt.

I have a new steering box and was planning on replacing the power steering pump as well would I need to buy a steering pump that is made for a hydro boost?
