1964 Ford F100

This is my other project. It runs and drives, but I currently have it stored in my parent’s garage. It’s a 1964 F100 with an inline 6 and 3 speed on the column. I eventually want to do a P71 frame/drivetrain swap. I know there’s a lot of hate for Fords, but my grandpa bought this one new off the dealership lot and it’s been in my family ever since.

By the way, that front bumper and those hubcaps are not original. My uncle pulled those off of his Ranger and stuck them on there back in the late 70s I believe.

I like it. I “hate” Ford, but I’m sentimental towards most older vehicles. There’s maybe one Ford product that I’m sure will find its way into my collection. Plus, my dad’s ‘96. He loved that truck, and I loved him so where does that leave me. Even though Ford didn’t build it, the 7.3 PSD is my favorite diesel, and Ford was still making a classic truck up through 1997 when Dodge was already ugly and bland and GM was transitioning away from the premise of the traditional truck with the GMT400.
