14 bolt ff disc brake swap

I got a 14 bolt ff that came with a disc brake conversion on it already. Is it something I can simply swap between other 14ff's or is there work that's needs to be done to the axle to accept the conversion kit. Seems bolted to the axle. Might swap it to a different 14ff.

If it isn't obvious I've never done a rear disc brake upgrade either. Thanks

was there a question? It is a disc brake conversion... yes it can be bolted to a different 14 bolt. The kit consists of a caliper bracket being bolted to the holes that the drum brake backing plate normally bolts to.

Looks like a SRW axle? Yeah, the setup will swap to another SRW 14FF.

Yeah my question was in the first post. Is this (conversion kit) something that can be swapped to any other 14ff or does work need to be done to the axle to accept the conversion? Like any kind of machining? Or can it be just tossed on? Maybe I worded it incorrectly? Its cool. I'll work for my answer.

Yes, any 14ff you strip down (by unbolting) to this:

You must be registered for see images attach

And then your caliper bracket will bolt onto the housing. Then it will look like this:

However with the first brackets I had they were not quite made right. The caliper wasn't centered over the rotor quite right. I had to shim it out (or sand down the pads) to make it fit. I've since thrown those brackets out and bought some from ORD and now do not have to use shims.
