14/16/18 inch wide Hoosier dirt oval tires on square body

I think I might be crazy, but I’ve seen some Hoosier dirt oval tires on some oval car, and I want to put them on my 86 k10, 2dr, long bed, with a 350. I figure I’d have to upgrade my axles/suspension in some way, being that the tires are 16x33. Also, I might have to get a 6x5.5 to wide 5 (5x10.25) adapter, because the only 15x16 wheels I’ve seen are wide 5, made for dirt oval. Let me know what you guys think! And, would this setup be any good for crawling, or driving trails

A sprint car (or any stock car) weighs a **** ton less than your truck, these are light weight thin tires and probably in a sticky compound.

I don't suppose these would hold up well on even maintained dirt roads let alone rock crawling. Circle tracks don't have sharp rocks or gravel

I've been wrong before though...

Thanks for the input! I never really took that into account, and now that I’m thinking about it, I’d guess the wheels that I’m thinking about couldn’t withstand that abuse either
